I’ve got a friend’s big birthday coming up and the plan is for us to all wear sequin dresses. I never wear sequins because I’m really fussy about fabric textures. I’m also quite self conscious about my size. Used to be be pear shaped but weight had shifted with age so I have a slimmer top half and legs but thicker round the middle (size 14-16).
Can anyone recommend a style than maybe has a waist as shift style dresses do nothing for me. Maybe a wrap dress? Also a brand that lines sequin fabric well so I’m not rubbing on the sequins, I guess long sleeves will be required. Nothing too formal looking, more of a knee length festival vibe. Hopefully wise S&B folk will be able to help me out.
