Love love love this dress but it's too short

I absolutely love this dress but I'm not confident enough to show my legs off. Anyone seen similar dresses in a longer length. Or any way I could create an underskirt or something?? Probably not, but thought I'd ask in case there are any fabulously creative minds here!

Have a look at Nadine Merabi Sadie- I recently hired this dress from Hurr for less than £100.

The fact the Op is 5 inches shorter than the model will make this dress seem frumpy. There must be so so much better for this party.

Your legs will be the least exposed part of you in this dress. When you zoom in you can see her pants. If you're comfortable going braless, see through and backless then it's a safe bet that there's nothing wrong with your legs. The model is supposedly nearly 5'11". It's likely that if the dress ever arrives the length is to your knees and the low back exposes your bum.

If I was younger (by 40-50 years) and in the shape I was back then, I'd be taking out a loan to buy that dress! Reminds me of the dresses they wore in the 20's in the speakeasys and jazz clubs (in the movies at least).

Can you try it on? It's so short you could wear it as a top with the right skirt ot tight trousers in one of the colours of the dress. Tube skin in shiny fabric might work.

This. It’s an out there dress and what it needs is lots of confidence (no matter your size or shape). It wouldn’t work with tights or leggings or a skirt underneath IMO. I also wouldn’t try to add another fringe.

How tall is the model and how tall are you? It might not be as short as it looks so maybe worth a try?

@MozzieFreeZone I haven't bought from the Winifred Rose site directly, but I have followed them on social media sites, seen the pieces used in magazine articles and bought a couple of pieces second hand. I also think they were stocked at one of the bigger retailers for a while. So while I can't speak of direct use of them, I can say that they are a real company with real products.

A completely different look. Its beautiful. The dress the OP posted may have the fringe look but the style & general appearance is dreadful.

2 pairs of dancing tights will sort your legs, apparently Kylie Minogue does this when she's on stage, some tit tape to secure the dress around your boobs and a sassy attitude.

Don't wear leggings, trousers or a skirt under it, it will completely ruin the effect. It's not a modest dress so you just have to own it!
