Love love love this dress but it's too short

I absolutely love this dress but I'm not confident enough to show my legs off. Anyone seen similar dresses in a longer length. Or any way I could create an underskirt or something?? Probably not, but thought I'd ask in case there are any fabulously creative minds here!

Could you wear tights with cycle shorts over ( not visible) to feel a bit more covered up underneath?

Model height is a very good point. Unless you’re tall, the dress will be longer on you.

Buy two and make a longer layer from one of them.

Did you look at the last picture? You can see the model’s underwear. There is basically zero coverage on her bottom

I agree with other that this is a drop shipping website, the number of item and turn around is always a big red flag. I’ve run a search and there are multiple listings on alibaba for the dress where dropshippers get most items from, it’s not incredibly cheap but is available from multiple accounts. It also looks a lot worse than the marketing makes it look on the website, it’s like a whole different dress!

Have a closer look OP. That dress is completely sheer. You can see the model has a stick on silicone bra underneath and beige knickers. Short is the least of it.

I think at your height the length will be fine. You will need a slip under it, though.

There’s no real fabric dress underneath, probably just sheer material. You can see the model’s knickers clearly in the pictures taken from the front and lots of her bum is on display too in the last picture taken of the back of the dress.
Just be aware of that before purchasing.

Have a look on amazon - search rainbow crystal fringe dress or crystal dance dress, and/or look up tassel fringe skirt? You can probably use something like this to make another layer but they do have other dress options and fringing etc @Starlightstarbright11

Is there such a thing as "cute" leggings ...?? Not to me there isn't!

I think if you order from this website, you'll be wasting a lot of money on something that was made very very cheaply, & that won't look much like the picture. It's essentially a high mark-up drop-shipping site, & you'll struggle to return it & get a refund. Which is probably why Vinted is full of their dresses ... & yes, it offers no coverage.

It's available on other sites, including Etsy - & Ali Baba for £77 (& that's probably about a £70 mark-up!).

I'd save your money & find something properly fabulous for your £250 - you're just getting sucked in by several strings of beaded fringing stitched together, & a very doctored photo ...

This is a bit out there but have you considered the Ice Skating world.

Magpie Crystals for example. You can send off an outfit and have them crystallise your outfit to order.

Aside from the fact that it’s from a dodgy dropshipping site, OP, so will be totally different from these photos, it’s just not going to fit you. I’m also 5’ 3” and looking at it on the model, the straps would be way too long, the v of the neck would be down below my boobs, and the strap length would mean they’d barely be covered, if at all. I think I’d take your budget and go shopping in real shops to get something even more fabulous and that actually fits you!
