@Twinsandsome pale skinned blonde (generally the palest neutral shade in foundation), blue eyes. I often have problems with darker shades making my lips look too thin and pinched but not with this. It has a slightly more pink tone on my lips than it looks in the tube.

Oh I need to step away from this thread for my bank balance. After the last couple of glowing reviews for the chantecaille cristal I have bought it 😩. Despite not needing it. I have gone rogue in the past week thanks to recommendations on here. I hope it works for me!

I was honestly really baffled by it. I will see if I can buy it direct from Sarah Creal or another stockist. Its probably a good thing, as I am a nightmare for picking up just a few extra things that I didnt go in for when im in SpaceNK..

The nespresso store in TC is beautifully fitted out, such a shame to hear that rubbish CS stopped you from using them. Its always pretty empty though, maybe that explains why!

Not really, it's more of a satin but not very slippy. I'm not quite sure how to accurately describe it.

Not beauty-related but back in April my sister, mum and I went to Jigsaw in Stratford-On-Avon. They had a huge sweep of sofa on which my mum took up a position. We tried on loads and then they offered us a cuppa. And gave me and my sister a free knitwear comb each for the cardigans we bought!

I hope everyone who buys the Sarah Creal eye brightener due to my recommendation does love it. I really think it's fab.

I'm not sure I want to use another concealer product now, which is unfortunate because I have quite a few other concealers. I'll have to use those up on other parts of the face.

Gosh I feel beaten today. Horrid week at work. Came downstairs to the aftermath of a low level massacre courtesy of the cats (we think Crimelord cat) so had to get the steam mop out so the kitchen would resemble a kitchen and not an episode of Dexter, all before I’d had first coffee of the day.
ran out of nice coffee so had to have shit backup coffee. Shit backup coffee knows it is backup coffee and gets worse over time out of spite.
Just remembered I ordered a primer on offer from Sephora on Sunday, I went to check the status and there’s a delivery picture of someone else’s front door and white gravel drive.
Gaah.
I’ve been cross all day because of work and now I’m just miserable and I feel like I’ve been ripped over the edge by a bloody primer.
Grrrrrrr!

Its the shit coffee that ruined it all. Dexter scenes followed by good coffee is one thing, but Dexter scenes followed by the insult of a shit coffee? Everything will be intolerable after that.

Can I suggest wine at this point?

I went to space nk earlier and had great customer service it really does depend on store and who you come across. They didn’t have the Chantecaille lip cristal out but I asked and she said they’d received the testers and went downstairs to get them. She opened them brand new and let me try both - I totally expected to prefer rose quartz (blonde hair, blue eyes, fair skin but red rosacea) but it didn’t do much for me. Can’t remember the name of the deep red but my goodness it was beautiful!!! Sadly they didn’t have stock so going to buy it from Chantecaille. I did use my points on the Lisa Eldridge lipstick set which are also both gorgeous. I don’t often buy lipstick but feel I’m going to be wearing a lot of it from now!!

Enjoying being back in 28C sunshine and getting to swim in the sea, oh, and seeing family after 18 months away, so I guess there’s some silver linings 😂😂😂
