I did finally get a refund for the missing order though and only repurchased one of the missing items so that sort of makes it okay (in my head). 😂

I got an eyeshadow, a blush and the holiday set with a balm & gloss. A bit impulsive but I've held off trying anything so far from VFR and it seemed worth it with the 25%.

From my missing order I re-bought the Mbm ethereal palette but not the 2 holiday sets.

Liberty have released a GWp with £125 spend. I don’t ever recall
liberty releasing a GWp at this time of year after they have released the Xmas sets. It’s a very small GWp and looks similar to lots of products I’ve had in recent beauty drops. I’m pretty sure that bag was with BD last year. Are they clearing the cupboards? However, it’s a nice touch if you are buying the edits anyway which annoyingly I ordered last week 🙄

Ah I thought I recognised it but I wasn’t sure. The votary was in the BD box only a few weeks ago. They really are clearing the cupboards. However, I would actually use all the stuff in that bag even if it’s not very exciting because I’ve tried it all and they are all quite nice. I only finished that night cream from BD last night. 😂. It’s not exciting enough for me though to find stuff for my basket to get the gwp. So for the first time ever I will let a liberty gwp pass.

edited to add: the kits are excluded from the gwp. Often this changes when they do a general release the following day but atm the gwp doesn’t stack with the kits.

I expect the Molly-Mae edit launch to be as crazy as the Selfridges FAC because she has a huge following and its such a good deal. I have a 50ml of Scarlet Poppy already so I'll sit this one out (I think 🫢).

The Liberty GWP is all stuff we've had recently including the bag so I'm not too annoyed they launched it after the edits. If it were more impressive, I might have gone through the rigmarole of re-ordering and returning my edit; glad I'm not tempted!

What have you liked from Violette FR? I am thinking of trying them.

I really like the look of this. I've tried very hard to cut back on skincare over the last 10 months. I still have enough cleansers, shower gel, serums, toners and moisturisers to last another 6 months at least. Plus loads of Jo Malone. Plus the John Lewis beauty advent calendar. But this is calling out to me!

Just got it. Couldn’t get any codes to work, not even blue light, but used quidco. Worth it for the PKE as I go through buckets of it and the rest will be used or xmas’ed.

I know they've been mentioned on here. Im looking at shades Ballerina,Cafe Creme and English rose as they were recommended for my colour. Id usually just by all but they are speedy. Any opinions please x

It looks like the same bag to me. I thought it was really ugly and sold it on.

Ballerina is cool/light, English Rose is more wearable but not a particularly stand out colour. I don’t have Cafe Crème. Nectar is very sheer but pretty. For me, I really like Bob and Onyx.

I haven’t. I usually get the frangipani, but also for the mimosa one last year. IIRC the lime and ginger was a popular one last year - I can imagine it being very refreshing and giving you a good boost in a morning shower

@Doglover73 Thanks for this, I didn’t try when they were first discussed due to cost but the discount has given me a nudge.

I am between English Rose and Bob. The former feels like a good everyday one for work, and the latter is (rightly or wrongly) giving me Rimmel heather shimmer vibes

Got the Womderskin in whimsical and it has lasted through drinks and dinner this evening . Needed lip balm on top so
as not to be so drying though. Will try it for work tomorrow to test longevity

I got a probioderm skincare set as a gift from a Korean client and my skin absolutely loves it!

Bob is a much more unusual colour I’d say. English Rose is a nice rose but there are lots of nice roses around.

I’ve got £5 CB credit which is due to expire so debating Soda but I already have 4 or 5 and I’ve got new(ish) purchases like Violette FR Bisou Jelly in Confiture de Figue which I haven’t been gotten around to trying, so I really shouldn’t!

On lip stains that last - i may have been a little less thorough taking off makeup after a few (ahem) drinks on Saturday night... but i woke up to see my lip liner still clearly defined on Sunday morning, compared to the rest of my lips.

So quite impressed - Summer Fridays Flushed Lip stain. It's a felt tip style pen. I use it is a liner, with wonderskin on the rest of my lips (as the pen is much easier to get a precise outer line), but the pen can be applied all over too.

To be honest, I loved it when I first used it, then wasn't so sure - it felt like it was drying out very quickly. But it's still working, and really does last.

I want to try the elf version too, but haven't yet.

I wore it on Saturday and reapplied twice in the 6 hours we were out drinking!

Ahh, tricky, as it’s obviously more of a pain to reapply than a regular lippie!
