I ordered 2 bare minerals sets off qvc the other day.
Having to change stuff due to perioral dermatitis. Looking a lot better now. 2 weeks but need to wait another 3 to 4 weeks as can bounce back. Bare minerals recommended. I used to use their stuff a pot. Can return if not right. Hope shade is ok. 🤩

I'm having a total mare with Boots IT, @Doglover73 - it keeps logging me out on the web when I go to look at Advantage card offers. Maybe I should spend my points in case it's about to delete me!!

Just to clear things up for the doubters - Matt and Oliver (formerley Vinted Fairy Flips) have been forced to issue a statement on the veracity of their WhatsApp offers. Can we now move on from accusing them of selling stolen goods.

For clarity, I don't actually care what other people do. I won't purchase from them, but that's my business.

I resent the implication that those of us who purchase from them are participating in illegal behaviour. They are a legitimate business. They are upfront about sales, and I'll repeat again for those who are hard of hearing - they would have been shut down by now if they were stealing from CB.

I think we had agreed to park this discussion, given the level of upset it is causing on here. Putting everything else aside, I’m super uncomfortable with the ongoing implication of criminal behaviour without any actual evidence to prove they have done anything wrong.

I know this is the internet, but these are real people who
many users have engaged with either historically via Vinted or more recently WhatsApp, and, as far as I can tell from all the messages on these boards, they have never once behaved in a manner to justify accusations of criminality. Whether or not people choose to purchase from them should be a private matter. I hope it’s ok to say that I don’t feel the ongoing discussion is appropriate or necessary on this board.

I would also plead that Fairy discussions are parked or held by PM (sounds like Matt and Oliver would prefer that too), as those who support their approach and those who don't are unlikely to change their views. I don't use Vinted/eBay/WA so have no skin in the game either way.

As I said, I won't purchase from them, that's my business, and I don't care what the rest of you do. I think the only people getting upset here are the people who do buy from them.

My selfridges fragrance edit arrived, it was all taped up in DPD tape so my heart did sink, especially after the difficulty people have had with selfridges cs over the fac. Thankfully it was all fine, but they really need to sort out their packaging, the inserts are too deep, so the perfumes were rolling around, unfortunately I do think that means some will arrive smashed up 😔

I feel like I ended up going mad yesterday. I gave myself a budget of £100 to spend in the Sephora sale, but ended up buying the Maison margiela calendar, this perfume edit, then £60 at Sephora 🙈 then this morning I've put another £60 Sephora's way - oops!

Oooh that Bobbi Brown is very tempting to spend my Boots points on and I’ve got £9 off a £45 spend… But will I regret that decision come Black Friday deals?!

I couldn't resist the SNK double points so now I have the gwp I said I wasn't going to get which is what I said and did the last couple of times too. 😂

I did have £50 in vouchers built up so not as bad as it sounds and double points means I get quite a lot back. I bought the Skinceuticals P-tiox serum I was going to look out for on BF, the Sarah Creal lip primer from my wish list and then the Elemis cleansing balm set and some patchology eye patches. The last two items I get through quite fast so it doesn't feel too much like adding to stash. 😳

I felt like mine were dancing with death as I could hear them clinking about and was sure one must have smashed, luckily they had not done so as cba to deal with their CS!

Boots app is driving me crazy at the moment as well. I couldn’t get the qualifying items for the free gift to filter or even load so I gave up. Also my £7 worth of points on a £70 spend won’t add . The advantage card offers are not as good as they were last year so boots get less money from me . I used to get 10% off and £7 of points every month and they stacked with discounts. Now the offers won’t even load.
I just got a bargain on cult beauty on the Kayaly sweet obsession set . It’s 25% off at the moment plus I used code CBAFF which brought it down to 52.73 from 88.00 . I’ve had my eye on it for ages but didn’t want to pay £88 .
