For anyone with the Sephora calendar, be careful with the red Hauslabs Atomic lip laquer product. Try on the back of your hand first. I felt like I'd put acid on my lips, when trying it this morning. I removed it within seconds but still sore an hour later.

@JoRaRaRa thank you for that code. My DD actually sent me a link to this calendar the other day but I’d already bought her the boots skincare one (that she didn’t know about), with the code it’s such a good deal so it looks like she’s getting Kiko and I’m getting a boots skincare 😂

@Seahorses12 - that’s awful - what on earth is wrong with these companies? 🙀 If there is a risk of such serious reactions there should at least be warnings on the packaging. (Or better still, remove whatever ingredient is the problem!)

The kiko makeup is lovely. I bought the AC last year but quite late into December so some of it I put away and have only just found where I stored it so I've given the calendar a miss but picked up a few bits from the holiday collection 🥰

Get the pharmacist to give you 180mg fexofenadine hydrochloride tablets. They can do it over counter for occasional doses. I get it on prescription as I have bad lip and mouth reactions to lots of food, lips swell right up. Clears it up quickly for me 😊

So Harrods is really a crapshoot but seems I got lucky this time and they are sending me a replacement item for the Valmont. Should be with my friend within a week.

I’m away visiting family abroad for a few days and been mainly in lurk mode! Absolutely shocked by the Shiseido shenanigans @IlovePond - I was about to buy one at the same time as you and @DidILeaveTheGasOn and only aborted at the last minute because I realised I’ve just finished a pot of Shiseido cream and felt quite relieved when it was finally empty. Not because I didn’t like it, but I didn’t love it, and really wanted to move onto something else. Feel like I swerved some serious stress!

Like @Peejay641, Vinted made me remove my listing of Latte di Cherry. Apparently I was selling “used” goods. No idea why they came after me for that, as I listed it inside the advent drawer box. I sent them photos of the advent and the receipt but they refused to budge. I wondered whether I was at the receiving end of someone’s vigilante action, or if the scalpers are all trying to take each other out by reporting each other?? Anyway, I’ve removed my listings for now. Eventually I’ll probably sell Latte di Cherry, liquides imaginaires and MG Queening, but will wait a few weeks.

Super impressed (like everyone else) by the HHFAC - that’s a thing of beauty!!

@Fillybuster I also had a perfume removed for being a ‘used item’. It was Abu Dhabi by Gallivant from the Fortnum calendar but didn’t have a box. They wouldn’t budge when I appealed it either.

I had PDM delina removed from eBay, despite being in a sealed box (from Harrods FAC), I did appeal and sent proof of purchase but they just ignored me

Ebay are really clamping down lately on unboxed items being flagged as used. Im wondering if I can get round the bots by having a picture of a generic box next to the item.
