My Ds does not understand at all, as a further advent calendar arrived. He asked why not spend the money on what you want?
Had to tell him that’s not very exciting and need to open a door each day. I bet he won’t complain when the fancy chocolate one for him arrives.

I am still 50/50 on the Fenwicks. The main draw is the Thameen Cora, which is also in the HN FAC, but I know I’d use a lot of the items in Fenwicks.
I’m saying this as I’m looking at a huge pile of boxes already stacked up 🙈

I checked my SNK BAC delivery last night and I love the box, it’s so pretty! I forgot a lot of the products in it as I dismissed it a while back due to cost then quickly jumped on it when reduced without checking. I am really pleased with the content, glad I bought it.

Also, I’ve been opening last years Lumene BAC this month and I really like it. The products are small but I can’t grumble at that given I got it reduced in January.

Edited rather than doing a third post! I was all raring to go and buy the YSL BAC but the discount code they sent me won’t stack with the BAC or any other new releases. Very annoying! It was cheaper in Selfridges anyway but with the discount and free gifts it would have been more attractive to buy from YSL. Now I’ve decided not to bother in protest

Thanks for the new thread. I think I am just looking out for bargains now. I have the LiB in my TikTok basket and can get it for £91, but I would prefer it a bit cheaper before I bite the bullet. I see it more as an AC for adding back ups to stash tbh😆

Its not as good as previous years imho but still decent. 2 fbs this year which were lacking last year. But I prefer trial / travel size myself.

Definitely a sea change at SNK, two orders I've placed recently late and items missing. Shoddy CS but they have replaced one missing item and I'm hopeful for the other. Also no samples on website anymore. What's going on?

@FOBIthefearobeingincluded I saw your post here about the FAC. Don't cancel your order! Whoever cancels takes a hit on their account even if eBay doesn't say so.

Let the reseller take the hit on their account or give up and ship it to you. Your money might be tied up while they stall and attempt to drag it out, but that's their fault.

If they do send the FAC, I advise getting someone to video you while you open it and inspect every single drawer. Someone like that might retaliate by scamming you.

Yes my order was late and when I complained I got a generic reply along the lines of 'yes, all our orders are late at the moment, please don't bother contacting us about it.' They say they'll refund the delivery charge if you raise a new complaint after it's been delivered, but I have the delivery pass anyway. If I can be bothered I'll ask them to refund that, but it's pretty crap that they sell a next day delivery pass knowing that they're not going to honour it.

I was in the King's Cross/St Pancras store two weeks ago. It was really grim, very few make up samples and what there were broken, dirty.
Wonder whether brands now how poorly presented their products are.
Don't know what's going on at SNK but it doesn't feel premium in the way it used to.

Its enshittification. The world is becoming enshittified as companies cut corners employ minimal staff and AI the fk out of everything.

Feels like SNK has been acquired by another company does anyone know if that is thd case? They used to be quite reliable with the exception of sale time
