Welcome to the 12th thread, we still have 50 days till the daily unboxing officially starts, although I very much doubt any of our calendars will remain untouched until then 😂

I got my SFAC last week but even so, I'm not sure if I can do this again for either Harrods or Selfridges in 2027.

I said on the last thread its too good a deal to leave but I really want to be over it now, feel like I'm willingly stressing myself out when life does that enough anyway!

Totally empathise with your position. Every click on that yellow box, was like taking another sip of slow acting yellow poison. A drain on your cognitive and emotional bandwidth. And eBay too is a poisonous lottery with your scalper-seller. There has been so much fraud already reported. Sellers assumed people wouldn’t open their calendar til Dec. But!! Kudos and ultimate respect to the actual humans on this thread who beat all the odds and secured. Proud of you!, Sending virtual high fives! May 2027 be your most fragrant year yet!

So true. Shoddy packaging to begin with, unboxed bottles, ?outer boxes probably being tripped over in scalper's homes.?exposed to extreme heat?Jammed tight against a radiator?Chucked in the post- cheapest service that they can find? and money banked. Hmmmmm….

I got a deletion with trying to list the SNK makeup gwp, it seemed to imply bundle or gift in the name was the issue but not sure which one it was so listed on eBay.

Tje Elemis cream is fab. I also smelt the white company home fragrance in store the other day and it was so nice! It’s a lovely calendar.

Speaking of Look Fantastic, I ordered their FAC on 1st October and nothing yet. On the 9th they told me to expect a dispatch email and tracking link in 2-3 working days, so I guess that’s today or tomorrow. I have received another ‘sorry it’s late’ email today. Wonder what’s going on.

@nickybear - Elemis night cream as per pp is amazing. I got a small one in F&M advent a few years ago and have loved all their products I’ve tried since. Bought their 12 day calendar last year and then the 25 day this year so let this be a warning to you 😂😂

I’m excited about my F&M one. It’s due to arrive on Thursday, and I’m saving it for December. Eek. I’m also looking forward to surprising my husband with the Liberty men’s, but must try not to spoil it by hopping on the spot and flapping my hands around with excitement 🤦🏽‍♀️

Im going to take another look at the oh my cream. It was on my short list. It does look beautiful. Have you looked through it? Or are you keeping it for December @Beautyfox?

I'm pretty upset I didn't manage to get the Selfridges perfume calendar, after I missed out on the Harrods one I was set to get this.
I can't believe how stressful trying to buy something was. In the end the app was a liability, it didn't matter if you were an unlocked member (what a stupid loyalty scheme) or just a "guest" checking out. By the time I learned about the wishlist trick it was sold out.
Today the payment didn't work then they removed it from the wish list and the wishlist was pointing to the home page and then they paused the queue. I had zero chance when it resumed but I see the scalpers had a field day. A queue of over 200000 people waiting to buy seems ludicrous. I don't think deleting the app is enough I will request for my account to be deleted. 😬

Sending virtual hugs to everyone who wanted an SFAC and hope things will be better next year. Seems like the stress of getting Oasis tickets, like a previous poster said!

Scalpers want easy money and high profits. If it's a lot of stress and time to resell, they'll abandon this and move on to the next shiny thing to scalp. So if they can't shift their stock easily and at a high price... perhaps they'll leave us alone next year?

AI has made it so easy for people to generate and buy bots to scalp - the singer Raye made a post about how she had never seen anything like it for a show that she wanted to put on for fans.

@nearly61 that sounds about right I could definitely be converted to an Elemis super fan! Fab to hear so many of you rate the Look Fantastic AC, but sorry so many are still waiting on it to be delivered will update if I get a notification.

I have around two to three washes left of my usual oloplex shampoo and conditioner and using my usual decanted night cream from when I travel so hope it doesn’t take to long.

I do have the HBAC already so may use the PK and revive night cream while I’m waiting and have bought quite a lot of rather frivolous but lovely fillers on Vinted to replace them.

@JasmineMilkTea - that’s what I mentioned up the thread earlier - about the Raye concert. The website was hit by around 1.8 million AI Bots. They’d never seen anything like it before.

I found out because my friend was trying for Raye tickets and did not receive the presale email.

Back to advents... the SpaceNK advent works with the FIRST15 code for new accounts, which takes it down to £233.75 with free shipping. Might be an option if someone wants a discounted SpaceNK advent but did not receive a personalised discount code.

@IlovePond - I really understand this - in theory there’s so much to buy but it doesn’t feel like fun, it feels like a chore - major first world problems I know .. chuckling at the leather Rhino - although think we’d only be able to afford the leather mouse which is about £200 😂

Finally caught up! I attempted the SFAC this morning but had already decided (despite putting a reminder on my phone) that I didn’t really want it. I was just going to try as I knew a few of you wanted one but weren’t able to get online at that time. Anyway, like most of you, I gave up after a short time as my wishlist wasn’t showing and I was in a huge queue.
