Welcome to the 12th thread, we still have 50 days till the daily unboxing officially starts, although I very much doubt any of our calendars will remain untouched until then 😂

Not entirely sure we can blame other folks here for not helping out. I really wanted to help. I had to attend an urgent meeting at my daughter's school. I'm pretty sure I apologised yesterday.

I love the idea of a make your own advent calendar. They you know you will love every drawer!

the F&M is one of the very few AC’s that evades me. I’ve recently visited Lisbon which is home to Bellamor. One of their products is in the AC and their products are wonderful so it is tempting me. I actually just really need them to sell out because I have enough but I’m very tempted and after the SFAC debacle maybe I need a sensible company to purchase from.

I hope it's not going to be like the last SFAC debacle. It's absolutely no one's fault here that folks didn't secure one.

I have Rochas Aquawoman which was discontinued in around 2008 and it still smells great and lasts well when sprayed. I keep it hidden in a cool dark cupboard and only take it out on very rare special occasions 😂

Nothing from BT or Arnotts about an advent calendar, but I got an email with a picture of a beauty chest that’s coming soon. I’d prefer an advent.

So disappointing to see so many people didn’t get SFAC this morning.
There should be some sort of access given, like SPACE NK do with their slot times

All so disheartening Mary! Boxes will be stacked high in the scalpers hallways in 2 days, when they could have been in our hands.

I’ve really not seen one I love so have been watching all your updates, dithering & getting the really nice Space NK gift set about 5 weeks ago thanks to your fab advice.
I’m really sorry so many people missed out on ones they wanted. Last year there was a nice fragrance gwp from cult beauty around late October or early November. Hopefully something similar this year from a couple of places so you can buy your absolute favourite full size and get a bundle of new ones to try.

I have made my daughter’s calendar (mix of beauty bits and kawaii trinkets) & am super pleased with it. Late finish tonight at work and only starting at 1 so thought I’d put it together and wrap today. I’ve also bought raffle tickets for the kids dance studio fundraiser where you can win a plouise or Sephora favourites calendar. I’ve also ordered an ASOS one to use for gifts as it has several things I was planning to buy my girls as stocking fillers and worked out good value to buy them that way. I feel like I just want someone to make me a cool custom one like I do for everyone else but that is not going to happen until the kids are a bit bigger as my husband uses all his reserves of inventiveness to do me a cool stocking.

Deleted my Selfridges app too. I’m not sure what they have achieved by producing this calendar, other than disappointing (I could use much stronger language) their actual core customers. Seems like a massive own goal.

It does sound horrendously badly managed & really poor service. It’s baffling how badly things like this can be managed sometimes

Do you think it’s possible they haven’t sold any FAC today? There seemed to be an awful lot of IT issues and those on here that seemed to have success appear to have it pulled away through cancellations. Wondering if it was all too much so they have pulled the plug……to be continued if you have the stamina for more. I don’t!

I wonder if they will drop the rest in stores.

The only think I have is free gift with purchase. Is there any more details on their chest?

Glad I missed the SFAC debacle today as I had to take my son to a class. It’s really disappointing but at the end of the day it’s just stuff.
