What at home gel nail kit? Any alternatives to mylee?

DD’s birthday is coming up and, as she loves getting her nails done but her pocket money doesn’t stretch that far very often, I thought I might get her one of the at home steps. She’s quite artistic and precise so I feel she could do them quite well. Any recommendations for which lamp etc to go for?

Why against mylee? I’ve been using them for years

Mylee is the only brand I’m
aware of. I’m not against them, just not sure if there are any other alternatives

Modelones has been good so far! I use their BIAB gel.

I bought a Mylee one for not much at all off Vinted and it's been great so far. I've got a few sets of Beetles gel polish.

I bought my DD this Mylee one for Christmas in 2023 and she still uses it every week. It was one of the best gifts I’ve ever bought her.

I started with the mylee set & still use the lamp but now use gelish for the actual gels. You can get it from www.nailpolishdirect.co.uk
They are much more hard wearing than mylee gels. But, it all comes down to the prep & application. I watched a lot of YouTube videos when I started as getting the technique right is crucial.
