Make up recommendations ?Laura Geller

Any thoughts on the Laura Geller baked make up? Seen lots of rave reviews & ads about how good it is, easy to use, idiot proof etc but is it really?!

Im mid 50s & tbh rarely wear make up but if going out I like make an effort & would wear light foundation/bronzer, lipstick, mascara & maybe eyeshadow/eyeliner. Def prefer more natural look & easy to use as no expert in this area! My old stuff is running out so need to replace.

Look forward to any thoughts / recommendations.

Thanks!

I quite like the finish it gives but it's minimal coverage. It does give you a nice look though.

I can only wear it in the summer as even the light shade looks orange when I've not got a bit of a tan.

I like it, but I do think you need a good moisturiser/primer underneath. It comes with it's own kabuki brush and it's very easy to apply and gives a light coverage. I've been using it for about a month and I'm happy with it.

I like it, it's really easy to put on and doesn't feel like you're wearing make up. I have the baked colour correcting foundation. It's light coverage though even when you layer it

Tried it a couple of times as wanted badly to like it.......

Grim stuff - the Balance & Brighten was cakey and old fashioned looking, the Balance & Glow only marginally better (I did use a hydrating primer underneath).

the colours we way off too - too much yellow for my pale skin

Both I would only ever use again as a finishing powder - so really I could not recommend, sorry!

I do like it but I have found it just doesn’t last. When it first arrived it was lovely- very light coverage but that was what I was after. However before I’d even used half of it, it had sort of hardened and couldn’t be used. When I swept the brush over it, nothing went into the brush anymore. This happened twice and felt like such a waste. I have just ordered Second Skin by Sculpted by Aimee so will see how that is.

I think it's great. Far easier than traditional foundation.

Too yellow for me. I sent it back.

I like it too, medium in summer and light in winter. The blush is excellent too.

If you need a little more coverage, I recommend the ordinarys serum foundation, build able tinted serum. However, in the summer I use the garnier wondertint for 50spf skin tint.

I tend to switch between the baked LG powder and a skin tint depending on how much coverage I need.

I really like it - but I only like a very light coverage.

I didn't like the foundation - it sat in my lines and made them more obvious.

I do however like the palette with blusher, bronzer and eyeshadows. It's a nice everyday collection.

I've just spent a fortune in Merit makeup & I hate it, she maybe I'm just hard to please 🤣 I do like Terry's brightening serum though!
