Tights Yay or Nay?

Off for a rare night out in Central London this Saturday. I have a lovely new outfit consisting of Lacey black body suit, Leather ruched front mini skirt and black blazer. Chunky heeled ankle boots. Would you wear tights or not? Ive got good legs nit particularly pale but not tanned at the moment either. Looking to be dry but only around 15⁰C max. Will be in restaurants and bars mainly but will obviously be walking tje streets and using public transport. I have 20 denier black tights? Yay or Nay to tights? Im not sure I've worn any since I left school in the 90s! Almost 50 size 6/8 and 5ft 9. I have no fashion sense so im relying on you guys 😜

I would wear nude tights personally.

I’m not too far off your age ! Sounds like my kind of outfit , I’d loose the tights it’s too warm , throw on a bit of light fake tan ❤️

I would be wearing tights, maybe barely black or nude. I suppose the skirt is too short for stockings/holdups.

I tucks the spare leg in me collar and then if I gets an ole or a ladder in me main one I can quickly swap em over.
(I never uses fishnets cos me nose always seems to pokes through one of the oles.)

Personally I would wear black opaques, but that is just me, I’m a bit nesh and my comfort zone errs towards covered legs. But that has nothing to do with fashion, and I think you will look fab bare legged. Love the outfit, it is very up my street (with the addition of the tights!)

Thank you. This is a bit different for me. Ive never owned a blazer in my life , dont know why as it should be a wardrobe staple. Im trying hard to be a bit more stylish but also don't wanna look try hard either 😅

Definitely black opaque tights with the chunky boots. Personally I find nude and barely black tights an abomination.

This sounds like a gorgeous outfit. I would personally go for patterned/ lace tights. The outfit is quite understated, and the contrast of the lace body with the leather skirt would (in my opinion) be diminished a bit by solid colour tights or bare legs.

I hate tights (thick legging types are a different issue), scratchy itchy rippy things. But if you're cold, there are some more expensive types that are meant to last and feel better. Or you could wear fleece ones, but since you're asking, for me, never.

I’d maybe go with some kind of subtly patterned tights or fine fishnet with this too. It’s a lovely outfit!

If it was warmer I'd probably go bare legged, if I had comfy heels I'd probably go bare legged also. The only shoes I own that would go that I can actually walk in are the chunky boots so looks like Flotral fishnets might be the winner.

I'm out on Saturday, day drinking with work.
I'm 57, wearing an Unfolded mini pinafore, with a black and white stripy long sleeved top, black thick tights, black ankle boots. Probably my black leather jacket.
I'm in the NE, it was 6 degrees this morning.

Orrrrr put some coins in the spare leg, quick weapon if you get caught by security
