Lancombe mascara

I've just ordered Lancombe Lash Idole Curl Goddess mascara from Amazon as it's reduced from £29 to £19 in the sale. I've never spent this much on mascara before but I'm sick of pathetic mascaras which don't do what they say on the tin.
Has anyone tried this? Is it any good?
I have 64 year old lashes that are a bit pathetic and need help.
I'm binning all my other mascaras because I have no idea how old they are.
It came first in a vogue (I think) survey of mascaras.

I’ve used Lancôme mascara for years but not that particular one. I like hypnose, it’s lovely and creamy and a nice shade of dark brown.

I'd be interested in feedback here - I was thinking of starting a thread about mascara. I used Liz Earle's for years but since that went I haven't been able to find one I like. They all seem to have springy flexible wands, the Liz Earle one was firm and I think that helped. I have really long eyelashes so need something quite subtle, in brown. I don't really want to pay a fortune as I throw them away regularly having experienced pre-orbital cellulitis (not caused by make-up, but it really shocked me how bad it was and how quickly it accelerates, so I'm super careful to not retain mascara which is always the temptation if it's cost quite a bit of money!)

Would be interested in recommendations. Hope you like the one you've purchased @Gettingbysomehow

I tried it this morning. Its good but not worth the extra money IMO. Ive had better and much cheaper ones however it doesnt make my eyes sting whereas cheaper ones always do.
