Speaking of the Liberty Lisa Eldridge edit, I love love love the Lisa Eldridge Velatura Balm Dewy Lip & Cheek Stick in Rose Madder 4.8g. I really wasn’t fussed when everyone was trying it, I’m quite bored of lip and cheek duos - said that in the Liberty survey! - but this was perfect at the “no makeup but try to look alive” look. Between that and the Westman atelier highlighter stick I have a very easy daily look for the moment.

i don’t know what to do with the Sam McKnight cool girl hair spray though, I am definitely not a cool girl!

no 7 liquid eyeliner had been my HG for decades for flicks, but the Danessa Myricks eyeliner blows it out the water for texture, precision of application, deep black colour and longevity. Think I got in 2025 cult beauty BAC but only recently started using. So so easy to use and doesn’t overload with product at all.

I recently bought one of those Sam M texture sprays on Vinted (not sure it's going to be sent as it's been waiting to dispatch quite a while now 😞).

It's a great product. I got a mini size to try first and love it. It's got a weird smell but I can get over that. It really gives my hair some badly needed oomph. Give it a try.

Also I kind of wish I'd bought the Rose shade in the balm when I got it. I do really like mine but I think I picked slightly wrong.

Ooh I opened my YSL order today, which contains the Burgundy blush and eyeshadow palette - I love them!! Can’t wait to test them out, might be a bit much for working from home tomorrow though 😁

I'm really regretting not buying the burgundy blush and now it's sold out 😭 I hope they get some more or somewhere else gets it in 🤞🏻

Went into H beauty today. Clarins have a decent GWP but Carnival is still 2 weeks away. I asked if the GWP would still be on and the assistant said she'd put one away for me just in case it runs out before then!

@XelaM revitalash is good but expensive - you can usually get some kind of deal somewhere though

I very much regret not buying Dior lucky clover eyeshadow 🍀 and now debating about the gorgeous medallion lip balm which costs £80 🙈💸 it’s too expensive and I don’t like dipping fingers into balm, but it’s a gorgeous collector’s piece 🤔

I’m surprised you weren’t the first one on that! 😁 I was a bit 50/50 as it was hard to judge online, but threw caution to the wind as I love the packaging and figured I could tone it down a bit if needed, and there was a decent GWP. They definitely look more wearable for me IRL. I’d say the blush is definitely more autumn/winter, I think the eyeshadow palette would work all year round.

@ShineDespiteEverything I bought the pink version of that range, and shamefully, despite having remembered various times whilst posting on here, I’ve still not opened it 🙈
I keep wanting to wait until I’ve got some proper time to open and enjoy it, because I’m a saddo but to me these things are a treat not every day spend. I was the same with the YSL delivery and intended to open this and my Dior delivery together this weekend, but I’m like Dory and forgot when it came to it as the Dior was upstairs.

I love the look of the new Dior palette too, and will likely get that if it’s still in stock (I waited as planned to ask DS to get it for me for Christmas, but again, forgot 🤪)

@Thelifeofawife I managed to pick up the burgundy eye shadow palette a few months ago so I only needed the blush and it's £5 delivery for under £50 which I didn't want to pay 🤣 I've had a look though and it's launching in other stores, so like selfridges, Sephora, look fantastic, boots etc on the 23rd October, so I'll be quick to pick it up when it does 🥰

@ShineDespiteEverything I can't believe Dior think it's ok to charge £80 for that teeny tiny medallion. And there's no pigment to it. I haven't bought it. I want to buy a few things from the collection but I can't really decide what. I bought most of the lucky collection and summer collection so I don't feel like I need anymore eyeshadows but I do like both quint palettes now that I've seen people swatch and create looks with them 🤔

Rapidlash works really well for me, if that helps. I'm in late 50s and my eyelashes had become very sparse - three months into using Rapidlash, I've had to reduce using from every night to every couple of nights as it's been so successful they're almost too long!

I'd sell some stuff on vinted that you dont want to try to pull a bit back and reduce your stash tbh. My stash was/is rediculous. Im getting rid of stuff, slowly.
My skin is being very temperamental, my fault, iv over used,chopped and changed, etc. I have seborrheic dermatitis around my nose and chin which hasn't helped. Ive had a lot of stress recently which wont have helped but ive overused actives so cut back big time and moving forward need to be more realistic about what I will use. Ive bought one advent, boots skin one, which ill share with daughters.
I bought at least 14 last year. In my defence it was my first year on here. 🤩

You may sell at a loss but its better imo than it being sat there going out of date.
Gifting is great ofcourse but my daughter recently moved out and I helped her sort her room and it was very sobering how much stuff id given her that she hadn't touched. I had to bin it all. My fault as I should have checked if she was using stuff id gifted her. Now I say if you are not going to use it, dont take it.
I just think as many people have said on here life is too short to save for best. Which is what ive always done but then forgot about them 🙄🤪🤷🤣

I daren't use my Sunday riley good genes atm which my skin loved as I dont want to make current condition worse. Ive gone back to green eborian as i cant see it sat on my skin like regular foundations.
I did think of getting another at space nk with gwp but its rubbish imo and should have been around a £70 spend. Ive binned/ given a lot of my foundations away as just dont look right. 🤪

@Thelifeofawifeenjoy 😍 it’s a gorgeous palette and gorgeous collection.I couldn’t splurge at that time and unfortunately Dior releases are indeed very limited.

On Saturdays I love to sit down with a cup of tea and do my makeup without rush 😊 little girl inside me still gets very excited about it.

For liberty beauty drop week I have Westman Atelier 40ml (2 x 20ml) serum with a rollerball applicator in my basket. I have the eye serum and pore refining serum already. The vitamin c one is veeeeeerryyyy expensive it’s £240 for 20ml even with 20% off. Waiting to see the full details of tomorrow’s bath and body edit before checking out.

@BakeOffRewatch I had a sample and really liked that serum. I did consult AI who felt medik8 peptides was better and cheaper ( If we believe AI). I did like it a lot though.
