Vinted / Evri

I bought an item from Vinted and in the messages section of the app it says that it has been delivered to my pick up point. However I have not had a pick up code and Evri is being useless.
The pick up point won’t let me collect it without a code.
Has anyone experienced this ?

Have you checked your emails / junk/ spam for Evri ?
I must say my local Evri pick up points just ask name / address and I have to show ID

You should have received an email with a barcode. My collection point doesn’t ask for my barcode anymore as they know me so well 😅 so they can definitely release the parcel without it. Perhaps go back with your ID on another day and hope you get a different assistant?

I had this last week, the email with the code came a day or so later. Annoying but worked out in the end.

My local post office has a big sign in their window saying that Vinted parcels via Evri are only ready for collection when you get the barcode from Evri, not when Vinted say it's ready.

If you haven't already, get the Evri app, as it makes it much easier to find the info about a parcel rather than trawling through emails.
