I have one of their dresses and I think it’s more on the small side. With coats I’d get bigger anyway so a jumper can fit underneath.

I find the opposite with them.

Ok. I run warm and will be using it to walk to nursery

I have one of the Larissa shirts in a 10 and I'd say it's true to size.

I wouldn’t really say that Seasalt is a smart brand, more a high quality casual one. It’s actually my favourite brand because the fabrics are so nice and natural and don’t make me hot and sweaty (menopausal)! I find everything is true to size.

TheOGCCL · 01/10/2026 21:52

I think Seasalt is true to size.

RedRiverShore6 · 01/10/2026 22:09

I got a Janelle coat last year in the sale and I had to go up a size, it was smaller than the Janelle I had from a few years ago.

Angelina97 · 01/10/2026 22:10

I had to go up a size in their rain coats

MaeshoweDragon · 01/10/2026 22:25

I wear seasalt a lot as they use a lot of natural fibre, and have genuinely bum and belly skimming shaped tunics. I am a size 20 in both M&S and Seasalt. Have found them true to size - whereas weird fish and Joe Brown come up a little small.

OneNewEagle · 01/10/2026 22:40

I’ve got a few seasalt dresses. Some didn’t fit had to all go back others fitted in the correct size. I’d always go up a size for a winter coat to fit a jumper underneath.

I think theyre pretty true to size and their coats eg a bit bigger, ie they assume you'll want to have a decent jumper on underneath, so theyre a bit roomier than other brand coats IME anyway

bananaapplepears · Yesterday 16:48

They're not a smart brand. They are a casual brand.
