Styling for fine, crap hair

My hair shoulder length, fine and a bit crap at holding a style without a tonne of product. If I have a blow dry, it’ll last nicely all day but will be crap again (flat) the next day. Usually I wash and dry it myself every other day as it gets greasy otherwise. It’s in a pony tail on day 2.

Im keen to get a Cloud 9 or an air wrap to at least have it look nicer/ be easier to style on the days I dry it.

Does anyone have any recommendations for which styling tool I should ask for, for my birthday? I’m 50 so my hair won’t be getting any thicker or better! Thank you.

Are you my twin?!

I use a heated brush, I have the Amika one and whilst it is quite large works really well and has lasted years.

i have the flattish smallest one

I have thin, fine hair. It is getting thinner and finer too which I think might be part of glorious peri menopause (I am 46). I've asked Santa for a Dyson Airwrap for christmas to try and put some shape onto my hair....let's see

Thank you both. I’ll have a look at those.
