Autumn winter update

I have £100 voucher to spend in a clothes shop, could be m&s, zara, uniqlo etc. I am petite.
I desperately need some new jeans, basics, jumpers, jacket and boots. Obviously I can't get all of that with my voucher but where and what would you get from the high st if you had to do most in one shop? X

On that budget I'd get jeans and basic t-shirts from M&S. Knitwear is a bit more difficult because cheap jumpers are often acrylic and won't last 2 minutes or are very expensive wool and bobble - I try and buy cotton these days!

I personally don't rate Zara as it's built for taller women but I do love Uniqlo for outerwear and casual bags.

The M&S barrel leg jeans are worth a shot. They have a couple of nice jackets in too.

Would you be able to use it in a supermarket?

If you have any spare cash at all outside the voucher, even £20, you could get something good in Tu. Most of my t shirts are from there and they do good affordable jackets. They'll have 20% off around Half Term.

I would go to Uniqlo - and start with the item of outerwear you need most - whether that’s a short jacket or a raincoat at a full length warm coat. Comb through all their collab collections online and work out the best combination of quality and value.

That may not leave you with much more to spend - you could eke it out by specifically looking through all their reduced price clothes. Less size availability but great bargains if you’re lucky.
