Best plus size jeans/trousers?

Hi everyone,

Looking for some advice on jeans/trousers!

I’m 5’3 and recently have put on a lot of weight due to a lot of personal issues. Currently around 13 stone and probably a size 14/16.

My aim is to get down to 10 stone and back into size 12 but obviously that will take some amount of time.

At the moment I have exactly 0 pairs of jeans or trousers that fit. As my goal is to try and lose weight I don’t want to invest in loads, but I need at least one pair to wear in the meantime.

I’m looking for a recommendation of plus size/curve jeans. I’d ideally like something that hides/doesn’t accentuate the stomach area as this is wear I carry my weight (and I actually hate having a visible pouch!!)

Any brands welcome, preferably budget friendly as I obviously will hopefully not be in them long, but willing to pay more if I won’t feel so awful in them in the meantime!

I wouldn’t be counting a 14-16 as plus size to be honest!!!!!!!!
Next and M&S have lots of styles of jeans and they make them in different leg lengths too.

I'm larger than you and buy basic, day to day trousers from TU, M&S, George, matalan etc. Sizes can be hit and miss though, so I often have to buy 2 sizes then return the other. For jeans, I struggle because the waist band is often gaping, even if they fit the rest of me! Sorry, no specific recommendations for stomach controlling jeans.

not specifically plus sized, but I really rate m@s & next jeans. I do also love Levi’s, but I don’t know if they are any good for holding you in or lifting bits up.

I totally get what you mean and I’m not saying other people are plus size at a 14-16, but for me height it makes me severely overweight!
