Cobalt Blue Cashmere

Could anyone please tell me where to find a cobalt blue cashmere jumper or cardigan, which is not cropped, i.e. comes down to hips at least, doesn't have over-long sleeves, isn't too fitting but also not too boxy. Not quite into Brora or N. Peal price category, but will pay up to £175 for the right thing.

I used to rely on M&S and Boden for good quality cashmere, but this year the colours are awful, they are mostly cropped or too fitted, and I find the quality is poorer, particularly M&S.

Edited to say I tried a John Lewis collared cardigan and it was way too short in the body.

Mahogany Cashmere has Lapis Blue in a few different shapes. Sometimes they might not be immediate but delivered in 5 weeks.

In case you don’t find anything, Cos does lovely cobalt cardigans and jumpers in other wools. Their cashmere jumper is out of budget though at £249. Apologies for the unhelpful post!

I love this merino one I bought but I am a shorty and it’s a bit too long. Still love it!

Oh that's really nice - I am 5' 8" - that's why I want it longer! Is it quite fluffy and thick or thinnish as merino usually is?

TBH I'd look on Vinted - current cashmere quality isn't great

It feels more like lambswool than the thin merino I am used to.

The small is 56cm so I guess you could see if that is too short.

Cobalt blue seems to be doing the rounds - Hush also are plugging cobalt blue this season. A bit above your price tag for the cashmere options but they do have jumpers with a bit more length.

Thank goodness there is a bit of cobalt blue about for those of us who can't wear brown and other shades of sludge.

Next have a cobalt cashmere jumper but it’s £86 so the quality might be a problem.
Have you looked at men’s jumpers? Someone suggested it on a thread the other day, re women’s sometimes being too fitted/ too short.

I've always loved cobalt blue and nice to see more around this year. Agree with you about the brown and sludge 'fashion' colours. They do nothing for me!!

The Next jumper is a lovely colour but it looks very short again. I might wait for some reviews on the quality.

Edit: apologies, if you click on regular for the smaller sizes. Although they call it navy it looks a bit brighter.

Hobbs had cobalt in their Audrey jumper a couple of years ago. It's a merino and cashmere mix.
