Corduroy… how do you style?!

I have two lovely pairs of corduroy trousers. A pair of chocolate brown flares and some navy wide leg ones.

I just have no idea how to style them!

I wear mine with a fine gauge knit or a vest/t-shirt combination.

I think pattern or different texture works really well with corduroy; I have a couple of items in burgundy corduroy and I pair them with patterned/flower print shirts or chunky wool cardigans in a complimentary colour like cream. Leather bag and shoes work well, too, IMO.

I’ve just bought a gorgeous chunky cable knit jumper from next which I’m hoping will work well!

I knew a woman who wore corduroy trousers every time I saw her, and she usually wore quite baggy jumpers... but she was of the tall, slim physique and could carry them off without a problem!

I love corduroy. It just looks cosy!

I wear a lot of corduroy.

I team with a cotton top and cashmere cardi or jumper. Usually trainers.
