Styling mustard skirt

I bought this white stuff mustard skirt on Vinted and now have no idea how to style it! I’d like to wear it for work, with flat shoes/boots. I always wear tights so would like recommendations on what colour top/ tights and shoes I could wear.

Black? Not remotely to my taste and it’s a fairly limited colour palette. Maybe cream?

Brown is the colour du jour and would look great with that lovely skirt.
A fitted top and brown tights.

How about navy?

Plain teal shirt, black tights and shoes.

My first thought was brown too. Rich chocolate brown jumper with brown tights and boots.

I had that skirt, and gave it away to a charity shop a few years ago! Used to wear it in the summer with a navy, boat neck T shirt and either brown flats or (if walking for a distance) just some Skecher trainers (brown or blue). I found it really easy to dress up or down.

Sorry, don't know about tights, because I wore it only in the summer.

The reverse combination works well for me, too: navy skirt with a chartreuse top.

I’ve been trying to expand my colours and got a mustard skirt recently. Wore it with a white t shirt and brown v neck jumper this week which was good. Think will try with green as well.

Dark plum, dark green or navy knit.

I’d go for violet or burgundy with oxblood shoes or boots.
