Footwear help

Bought this off vinted and it's perfect but I'm a bit unsure of what shoes to wear.
I'm not a fan of sheer tights so would go opaque. Do not like the boots pictured

I feel heels are so dated now and never see anyone wearing them aside weddings.
I've got flat black knee high boots, black classic loafers , some navy velvet loafers ( could only wear these indoors ) oh and trainers but they are all quite summery.

I'd wear current ballet flats, neat black chelsea boots such as dr martens 'flora' or your own classic loafers and knee high boots would also be ideal. Lovely dress btw.

Have you tried the dress on with your own footwear? I’d have thought the knee high boots would look good with it. (The ankle boots in the photo are obviously awful as the proportions of the whole outfit are wrong.)
