I think the colour isn't right and the fit isn't great. I saw her in a Hobbs dress a little while ago, it was quite simple but it really suited her. Perhaps just a sinpler cut and more flattering silhouette?.

Actually I feel bad about my comment now that I know what the event was. It clearly wasn’t about looking the part today, but a show of support.

It is a departure, it's a cape dress, but the cape part starts lower down, so it's a kind of off the shoulder cape. I'm not sure that works. I like what we can see of Brigitte's dress.

I quite like the dress but my goodness she looks stern in that portrait! Not like Leti at all. Agree Mme Macron’s dress looks good. I much prefer her hair away from her face rather than that awful helmet look Bob

In contrast, Stephanie’s yellow dress is too much of a block of solid colour. The proportions look wrong and I wonder if it would have been better left as a long dress. She’s in red tonight and the First Lady of Finland is in a silver one-shoulder gown. I’ll see if I can find a photo.

Beautiful! I love the tiara as well, and her elegant updo. The red dress is far more flattering, and overall a lovely look.

She looks nice in red, as does the Finnish first lady. I think she's British?

Brigitte in sugar pink, the dress and coat are very simple and well cut. Nice. Leti is im a rewear, a pearl grey dress with floral accents. It has a Japanese vibe, imo. Also nice.

That pastel pink dress and coat is formal perfection imho. I like the grey of Leti's dress, but not a fan of the bow and pattern together.

I like the bow on Leti’s dress. I think it works well even though I’m not normally a fan of bows. I love the colour and pattern. As pp have said, Brigitte’s pink is a classic. A good length on her as well

It’s nice enough, I think is a pity it wasn’t something a bit more cheery for a pensioners lunch club. She seemed to be having fun with them anyway.
