Laser hair removal

I know this has been asked before but I’m a bit muddled with all the info. Can anyone please advise the best home laser tool to use for leg hair removal that doesn’t cost a fortune.
I have dark hair and medium skin. Thank you

Philips Lumea is the one I have and I'd recommend. I think they all cost around the same.

Do they leave your legs as smooth as when you shave?

They kill the hair at the root over time. So it stops growing eventually.

Does this apply to white (aged) body hair ie the dreaded white pubic hair or chest hair? I had heard that electrolysis doesn't work on white body hair, only on non-aged hair, which is annoying. Asking for me (a bloke).

The home laser treatments are IPL and they only work on dark hair I'm afraid.
