Does this product exist? Cream to even my skin tone without colouring in my face?

I wear no makeup at all; just good quality face cream and spf 50.

I am 50. I probably look a bit older than that. I have very fair, very freckly skin.

I've noticed recently that my nose is redder in tone than the rest of my face.

The trouble is, any pigmented, skin-coloured foundation just looks really weird to me. I hate seeing skin coloured paint on my face. Perhaps because of my freckles? My natural face isn't one even colour. And it shows up my pores. It just doesn't look right to me.

So, with the slight worry that this is a stupid question, is there a product that is both invisible, and will even up my skin tone a bit? I don't want flawless perfection. I just want to look a little less like a jolly farmer on the brandy.

Is cc cream like bb cream?

I use Azelaic acid everyday which has been brilliant for reducing the redness I get from rosacea across my cheeks and nose. I get The ordinary 10% solution from Boots, just a pea sized blob applied where it’s needed then a factor 50 spf moisturiser. Like you I hate wearing concealer, foundation and will tolerate tinted moisturiser occasionally but prefer not to bother.

edited to add, you need to build up to everyday, I did 3 times a week for the first couple of weeks then every other day. It tingled a bit when I first started using it, but no adverse reaction and now it’s just cream.

If I understand it correctly BB cream is foundation diluted with moisturiser so it’s thinned and more translucent, you can still see things like freckles it just softens them, CC cream is similar but with the addition of a correction tint so a slight green hue if correcting redness, there are other hues too but anti-redness is the one I’ve always looked for.

Op erborian CC cream is white. When you put it on your face it just becomes your own skin colour.

OR I think Trinny London does a blur product that isn't foundation either.

I think concentrating on skin care would be the best thing as any cc ctram or bb cream or blur products will be something that sits on the skin and will be seen in your pores etc. Skin care takes longer and requires consistency though. Dr Sam does a lot of products that target rosacea. I'm freckley and have found using tretinoin and azalaic acid has made my overall completion more even and brighter with less visible pores.

I like Erborian Skin Hero for this. It mattifies and smoothes but no colour at all.
