Have you tried Chums clothing. They specialise in clothing and accessories for older people and usually have a good range in a choice of lengths

Could you not just get her some nighties that are in more dress like colours

RemusLupinsBiggestGroupie · 17/09/2026 19:37

Maybe Seasalt?

LadyLapsang · 17/09/2026 22:19

Lands’ End are good, and for cotton nightdresses too.

Joe Brown has a few like this one Needs a cardigan and leggings or tights in cooler weather but easy to get on and off.

Simone FatFace dress comes in various lengths and colours.

Mountain warehouse has comfy, pull-on dresses. I wear them a lot in the house in the summer.
Like this.

My mum has several dresses from cotton traders that would fit the bill.

bababamama · 18/09/2026 08:13

My mum loves cotton traders

Themsofcoffee · 18/09/2026 10:31

MiL gets dresses from Cotton Traders also. Also shops at Crew a lot

Gettingbysomehow · 18/09/2026 14:06

Also recommending Chums. You can also get disabled clothing if you type that into google. They do bras and clothing that are really easy to get on.

ExpertlyDecluttering · 18/09/2026 14:37

Uniqlo Airism, I don't think they have them at the moment (I was in a branch just now and didn't see any) but loads on Vinted. They come in various lengths, pull on over the head and are like very long tee shirts with huge side pockets but still look like dresses IYSWIM. I have a couple I wear a lot, they are very practical.

Cotton Traders or Seasalt jersey dresses would be my solution
https://www.cottontraders.com/women/dresses_jersey-dresses/
https://www.seasaltcornwall.com/clothing/dresses/dresses-jersey

The Seasalt swing dresses look particularly comfortable, as they have no waist, and look quite short as well, so maybe more suitable for your shorter mum!

AnnaMagnani · 18/09/2026 16:02

Came to recommend The Able Label but see @Gettingbysomehow has recommended it already.

My DM is a big fan as everything is easy to get on and off even with very arthritic shoulders, and it looks like clothing she would choose anyway.

Have a look at Kit and Kaboodal

Ponoka7 · 18/09/2026 17:59

You need to just look through the different retailers. Roman do some pull over dresses, there'll be some on next.
