My surgery is booked for early November and wondered if anyone here has recommendations for a good surgery bra? Also how long until you was up and about afterwards. Thanks

Ask them for pain killers before you wake up. I had a breast lift (mastopexy) for post baby spaniels ears. I like to wake up pain free so I always ask for painkillers to be given before I wake up. You'll be up and about in 5 minutes because they dont let you lie about in bed these days. I couldnt lift anything for a few weeks.

My daughter had one a week ago. She's didn't go massive. She was an A cup previously and has just had small implants to give a little shape. She's been wearing post surgery bras from M&S. She's finding it harder this week as the doctor took off the dressings and put tape there instead and the bra bands are tight on the scars. Not sure how you get around that though.

For the first several days she was showering her lower half but having a flannel wash on her top half. She also managed to have a couple of shallow baths. Just got to be careful not to get the dressings wet.

I second the M&S bra, I had my done on a Thursday and was back at work on the Monday (office job) I didn’t stay in over night or have drains. Under the muscle for reference ☺️
