Blazer for DS15 for a wedding?

We’ve got a wedding coming up, and DS needs a blazer to wear with trousers (probably charcoal). He is a size 36 and still growing, so I doubt he will rewear it much, hence I’d like not to spend the earth on it. He thinks navy or grey; I worry that grey will clash with the trousers. I’ve looked at H&M but I’m worried about the quality. They also seem to have a lot of double breasted ones, I know it’s back in fashion but we would prefer single breasted and a regular/relaxed fit (not slim fit). Not corduroy or linen. Any suggestions?

Try Vinted , seeing as u won’t get a wear out off it

I'd suggest looking in a charity shop. There's generally quite a few blazers to choose from. We got a very nice one for a wedding by going to a posh high street.

Thank you all, I found something on Vinted and, against all odds, DS liked it - it helped that I first suggested a pink velvet blazer so the blue John Lewis one looked fairly tame by comparison 😂. Now praying it arrives on time, and fits 🤞

The first blazer I ordered got cancelled by the seller, but thankfully quickly enough so I had time for Plan B. New Vinted (Paul Smith) blazer arrived today, DS likes it, so we’re all sorted. Thank you all for your help and advice.
