I don't wear a lot of makeup but I've found Hourglass and Westman Atelier to be very good, and the Victoria Beckman range is supposed to be too but I haven't used it.

Also MAC, Nars and Revolution Smile

Love Dior foundation, and the lippies. Victoria Beckham eye shadow sticks. Hourglass mascara currently.

Makeup isn't a one-size-fits all, it'd really help to know these things about you in order to be able to recommend some products that are suitable for YOU:

Your age?
Your skintype?
Your skin concerns?
How used to makeup you are?
What kind of makeup styles you like?
What makeup products do you use?
What would you like to enhance?

I love Merit, works really well on my 40-something skin and feels classy but minimalist. Also clean beauty, which is great.

I am also in my 40s and love Merit, also Ilia, Violette FR and Westman Atelier. As PP has said though what makeup will best suit you will depend on a number of things
