As always when the Advent threads are running hot this thread is a little quieter but holiday releases, sets and edits are just around the corner. I'm super excited to be going to Sephoria London in October - I still can't believe I lucked out getting a ticket.

@MrsBnow12 I'm undecided on the Love palette. Yesterday I decided it was too dark but then I watched a youtube from someone with fair skin using it and I think it would be okay.

It's similar to the Swan from last year - same powder and bronzer but the highlight and blushes would be better for me than Swan, they're a bit lighter and cooler (based on the vid I watched).

It's even more expensive this year and is waitlisted so I'd probably need to buy on release to get one.

I've watched a few videos on Wish and I just don't like that one.

Someone tell me what to do. 😂Do I try to get it as a better fit than Swan or should I stop wasting money on Hourglass and try and make the best of last years palette (that I've used maybe once because it's a bit too dark)?

It launches in the UK on Tuesday, this is from Stockholm as took a chance and passed it today.

In advent related news, tried the FDB Sirene Privee today and made me more determined to try and get the Brown Thomas advent as loved it.

Stop it. 😂I'd talked myself out of that madness in the last week.

I also tried BDK Stellar Silk and fell in love, need Harrods to have another gwp to justify the purchase 😂😂

On the Swan vs Love palette, I think the blushes are not as bright and prefer the highlighter in the Love one, the bronzer is quite deep but overall prefer the Love over the Swan.
I also have the Deer so need to compare to Wish before deciding and worth trying to find a store as thought they looked better in real life that the videos.

I love Stellar Silk. I chose between that one and the Oud Paradiso for my birthday. It was tough because I loved both. I went for the other one because it was more unique compared to things I own but I am still hankering after Stellar Silk. It reminded me of VB Reverie which I'd also like to have.

I love VB Reverie which is why I probably fell in love with Stellar Silk, would highly recommend Zara Supreme Vanilla as it is similar to the VB Reverie once dried down, doesn’t last as long but at that price point you don’t mind spritzing a couple of times a day.

Weird one today - went to pick up a parcel from Vinted from a nearby town (I live in the middle of nowhere!) and we couldn’t find the post office! Google maps took us to an alley behind a row of houses. No post office, just a stray cat (that I thought momentarily about bringing home) and some bins. Might have to go back on foot on Monday.
The post office seems to exist because the reviews are terrible! They have a thing for flatly denying they have parcels, apparently. I was prepared for that but not for some sort of Bermuda Triangle situation. Have had to message the seller with my rather dubious tale like a right idiot.

I forgot to say earlier that SK are having their autumn sale atm and CODE: CLARE10 stacks with SK’s codes to give more money off.

A quiet evening in the KCool household. I'm sat with a PK Elasticizer treatment on my hair, having just used one of my many K-beauty face masks (Madeca Lab PDRN glow mask). I dug out my led light mask and used that, and then applied the £300 Skin Cycles Exoyouth DNA Repair Cream that came with the LiB Grooming Advent edit.

There's actually a lot in the edit that I'm keeping for myself, including the muscle gel that I've already applied to my aching shoulders, the nail clippers that have been put to the test, the Magnesium spray that I'm going to use tonight, and the mini Summer Mink edp rollerball, which smells lovely.

I expect to wake up tomorrow feeling refreshed, with no aches and pains, all glossy hair and looking 10 years younger.

The Skin Cycles cream looks very fancy with its little caviar spoon 😍

I’m reconsidering the Lancôme beauty box. I didn’t realise the palette was different and there were other shades for the other products. I like that I can get it for £90 if I spend £50. I seem to remember it being on sale at £75 on Debenhams at some point last winter so I’m not totally sure. This basket feels like really good value though, with the free gift and perfume samples.

I am as it happens - i slept right through until 8:30am, which rarely happens! That might have been the magnesium.

My skin is soft this morning and my shoulder isn't aching. Tbf, I do have good skin, so no dramatic improvements facially, but I have noticed that my crepey neck is looking better after using the Trinny Elevator cream consistently over the last 10 days or so.

I've mentioned on the BAC thread that it looks like the Skin Cycles cream will be included in the Latest in Beauty BAC. The info was in an email and I can't find much more online.

My favourite Tatcha has run out and I'm trying not to buy another. I've resorted to using a Glow Recipe one that's been open a while but I don't love it and am looking for excuses to bin it.

Embarrassingly I haven’t even opened my cb overnight edits yet, they’re just stacked under my bed alongside quite a few other purchases I haven’t had time to sort through. I feel like I might have picked up some bad habits over the past 7 months or so since finding these threads!

Might be getting confused between threads : did someone mention a new Selfridges beauty edit has just launched? Can’t find anything on their website (although I have just picked up some new REISS tops in the sale whilst searching. Oops).
