Best lint remover

Not sure where to put this but hope it's ok here.

Can anyone recommend the best lint/fluff remover ever?

I find the sticky paper rollers the best, although I'd prefer a more environmental option.
Two fluffy cats and if I could find a way of removing the fluff during washing rather than it coming out worse that would be even better!
