Just what the title says, really! I’ve just got engaged (YAY!) but there’s nothing like repeatedly holding your left hand out to show off the ring to make you realise how decrepit your hands look!! So lovely style and beauty people, what’s the best way to improve my mitts?? TIA 😊

Nobody will be judging your hands except you. So the best advice I can give is to learn to love them. They work hard for you every day so they should get some appreciation!
(And sun screen but that's preventative I'm afraid).

... and congratulations!

Congratulations from me, too! I agree with the sentiment above, but you could try a very traditional hand treatment: a paraffin wax mask.

Also traditional: rub a drop of glycerine into damp hands (laundresses used to do this) every time you wash them. Careful, it's slippery.

Less traditional: slather the backs of your hands in your favourite face cream. Short term only!

Congratulations! You don’t say your age. But I am 49 and recently stopped using liquid soap. I have bar soap at home - still use whatever available out…and my hands transformed almost overnight!!! I was on a thread for people with problematic hands - we’d all tried lots of creams etc and a couple of us tried bar soap…to the same effect!

I got my brown sun spots lasered off and apply cream several times a day and they are not too bad at 64.
