I'm wanting to get my DH new trainers for his birthday. What brands/styles are popular for men in their 40's at the moment. Thanks

go for good over popular. Adidas ultraboost for super-comfort walking, Adidas SL 72 RS for a lower profile, with some weather proof options. Terrex for proper weather-proof. Or the trusty New Balance 574.
