Just to add for anyone worrying about slots. Last year it didn't sell out for a while iirc. So all this slot thing is mostly hype.

Oh I've got my slot, 8:30 - 9:30. I don't know if to buy or not. I feel that the excitement might take over 🤣

I think it's a good way to hype it up and also make sure we don't all crash the website / app 🤣

Almost resolved to not get SNK but the FOMO will get me tomorrow, it might be like Cult Beauty all over again (although I really did want the SNK one for ages and have only just got myself by the scruff of the neck).

Almost finished with today's horrendously boring task which is a relief, thought it would take all day. Time for lunch and to deflea the cats. Last time I opened one of the flea treatment pipettes it spat the solution at my face and went in my eye. No fleas on me I suppose... If that happens again can I use it as a bizarre excuse to buy the Selfridges BAC? Rather good at these spurious and wafer thin excuses lately!

My Space NK slot is 15.30-17.30 tomorrow. I hope it’s just hype and it’s not sold out before my timed slot, it’s the only one I wanted!

Got my SNK BAC slot tomorrow 8:30-9:30, I'm not interested in this one at all.
I suspect it's not going to sell out this year and SNK will either reduce or throw GWP in later.

Boots FAC - you know, the one I was definitely, certainly, absolutely NOT going to buy, on the previous thread - just arrived. My justification is that I didn't enjoy doing 12 days of Christmas last year, I prefer a proper 24 day advent. Harrods FAC is only 12 days, so now I have 24 days. Of course I really want Selfridges FAC but my not have a chance of getting that, so at least I've got something. Might also try for JL FAC if it's released again but no guarantee of that either. A Boots in the hand is worth two in the bush.

These VIP slot bullshit initiatives really put me off. Just put it on sale, ok maybe one pre sale for members but then send those out as priority!

This 'its soooooo important tbat you need to book a special slot' nonsense is getting tedious. It doesn't usually sell out that quick anyway, and they know this as the job of the buyers is to match stock to predicted demand, much of that demand will be later in the year from people not as obsessed as us!

They've just said this week but haven't been specific as yet.

If they did something like that I might get it. I think it will hang around for at least a couple of weeks. I can't remember when last year sold out and 2025 was a better BAC imo.

I genuinely can’t believe how poor that OMC a/c is! The bag is ok, (I think those pouches are fixed in place @paristotokyo - but I could be wrong), but the contents are mostly minis, sample sizes, silly flat clips that are usually giveaways, with one or two honourable exceptions.

I laughed when I saw the Innisfree mask as one drawer item - they were selling those for less than £1 in SK, (admittedly you do have to get there first 😹)

Tbf, CODE: BAG26 does add the GWP, (more tiny products and a small-sized kimono).

Alternately, for any new customers, using CODE: WELCOME20 gives 20% off bringing the a/c down to £156, but this doesn’t stack with the GWP.

It’s a resounding no from me. I can now unsubscribe and end the constant bombardment of emails!
