My cult beauty advent calendar has finally arrived. I could cry though! It's missing the medik8 cream from drawer 13 😭😭😭 I'm so passed it now with cult beauty.

Oh no @JoRaRaRa - it’s obviously gone ‘missing’ at packing or shipping stage. I hope you can get it resolved with CB.

I've pre-ordered Sephora. My (flawed) logic is that if I love it enough to pre-order then loads of other people do too and it will sell out. That has only ever been true for Harrods fragrance although I'm still happy to buy it today.

@JoRaRaRa sorry to hear about your CB advent. Their customer service gets worse bu the day - I've had no response about a £10 perfume voucher that doesn't work, all they say is the technical team are in investigating. I can't push too much in case they ban me again on this new email(!)

Just to add that cashback seems to have tracked with Quidco for Sephora. Topcashback explicitly stated no cashback on advents

I'm happy to announce that CB have finally sent the £20 - as account credit rather than an email voucher, fine by me. They were quite apologetic in the end so I definitely think the earlier 'check your spam folder' emails are bots. Scary that you can't quite tell!

I now have £35 CB credit from the one AC purchase ( as I used up my existing credit) not quite sure how but it means with the discount code and credit the calendar was £160. Winning at life!

Oh no! As I've just posted you can get somewhere with CB if you persist - just have to go through the pain barrier of the early emails until you get somehwere (probably designed to make you give up)

There's a woman on insta who has 4 products missing from her CB bac with a RRP of over £150. CB have offered her £24 and refusing to replace. If you've not checked your calendar, make sure you do. I also noticed that my Paula's choice from the bac was really dusty, I've checked the code, it's 1 year 7 months, which is ok but obviously not as fresh as what we expect when we buy these calendars. It's making me think I need to go through everything and check the dates as my whole list could change.

I'm a bit put off CB right now but I am eyeing up the new Patrick ta eyeshadow palettes so I'll probably end up ordering that today from them 🤣

I've put in my complaint as well about not receiving any credit despite it being 6 days late. I don't even feel like I've had a proper apology from them. I put something on Insta in their comments and I'm now being spammed with people / bots claiming to be from cult beauty wanting my account details. So be careful if posting any complaints on insta guys.

Just checked through my CB BAC and I'm missing Escentric Molecules Escentric 01 (Travel Size; 10ml) but everything else is there. Haven't had the £20 either. Off to customer services...

By the way, how gorgeous is the CB BAC? As a BAC newbie, oh my god. What a lovely experience.

Ive just checked mine and the Allies of Skin serum is missing, thats £94 value. I'm not impressed, but not surprised from CB.

I popped into Sephora and looked at the Mario palette from the AC. Big mistake! I have now preordered Sephora!
