I was planing on getting Sephora but will wait until I’m back off holiday when I will realise that I have already ordered far too much so may not buy it.

i am now more tempted by SNk it doesn’t excite me but if it was an edit I wouldn’t hesitate with the value however they haven’t emailed me and the app tells me I have early access but then says coming soon so maybe I should take it as a sign that I already have enough.

just wondering if Brown Thomas will do a second, more affordable advent in October? Last year, they did a second one (called the Festive advent) for €175.

And also, if Flannels will do beauty crackers? They were definitely advertised by early September every other year

I am definitely ordering SNK when my slot opens but I am trying not to order the Sephora one and wait and see what gift sets they bring out.

I think I'm going for Sephora. I already have Harrods. I was considering Vogue but too spendy for what's in there that I'd use.

Just bought the Space NK calendar - I lost my beauty advent calendar cherry to them last year and was delighted with the haul. I hadn’t heard or used many of the brands last year; many have become constants. Hoping for the same experience this year - again, many of the brands are new to me.

Im not going for either. Just received my Skins Advent yesterday and already had 2 Bijenkorfs. Now waiting for LF to finally ship to stock up on my basics.

Waiting for Harrods Home and Selfridges FAC. Still going back and forth between Harrods and Selfridges. But if Im being honest Im just interested in them because the rest is lacking for me lol.

And hipefully HN will still release theirs but there might be issues as the companies delivering stock are now creditors.

In desperation to spend my BD credit, I just looked at the Liberty a/c again - but I swear it gets worse every time I look at it😿 (Apologies to those who love it!)

I’m feeling particularly grumpy atm because I just found out DSIS has bought the blooming thing without telling me. I could have bought it for her with my BD credit if she’d told me and problem solved 🤬

There’s no point asking her to swap stuff because she wants all the same stuff as me. However, unlike me, she is freakishly good at selling stuff and will get ridiculous prices for her unwanted items.

I think I might go to Liberty this weekend and have a look round. It will be interesting to see the a/c in real life too.

For anyone on the fence about Penhaligans mine has just arrived and it’s stunning . The calendar arrives in a rich red cloth ‘ sack ‘ with gold embossed Penhaligans writing which could definitely be used for something else . The advent
‘ boxes’ themselves are robust and perfect for decoration or storage . One thing to note the trunks are not separate they come as one unit .I haven’t unpacked the contents because I’m saving them for December but I might have a sneaky peak at the freebies . Very happy with my purchase .
