I’ve probably missed it but has it been discussed how the Fairy is getting these items? I can understand it might be possible to end up with lots of GWPs to sell through buying stuff but having cheap advent calendars to sell seems a bit odd at this stage. Apologies if this has been discussed, I dip in and out.

Both if your DODs can be used as eyeliners.moonglaze thingy is better as a lip product as its multipurpose. Does that help? I am going to get the marc jacobs out tonight and try it out , I think it can be used as part of a smokey brown look, no need to be intimated.

Sephora have uploaded a video on TikTok that confirms what we thought was inside. I would love the candle and the perfumes but there is too many products in it I wouldn’t use unfortunately

Cult beauty BAC update. I think they were lying when they said that royal mail lost it. My screen looks different now that I have a new tracking no, it brings up a date (tomorrows) that it's meant to be getting delivered and says it's been processed. Probably blaming it on royal mail so I don't complain 🙄

@JoRaRaRa and others, it may be worth checking if Brown Thomas will deliver to a mail forwarding company as know some in the US won’t, Blue Mercury is the one that I remember.

I bit the bullet and ordered the Lookfantastic BAC for my 16-year-old daughter. Hopefully I made the right choice 😬 but it seemed as the best value for money with many of the teen favourite luxury brands 🤞🏻

Now I'm doubting myself and thinking I should have gone for Glossybox instead. 🤦‍♀️

Ok moonglaze is best as a lippy. Two swipes for proper colour payoff and its like cooler mac ruby woo. I hated ruby woo and this one is a better red for me,very comfortable on the lips like a balm.I have swatched a tiny bit to see.if it spreads to work as a blush and it does. Would work great for deeper tones as a blush.Marc jacobs is also a win as a outer eye corner look,very easy to blend.

My HFAC arrived on Saturday. I could NOT wait. Ive been though every drawer and listed the ones I didnt like on Ebay. 3 have sold so far withe 3 to go have almost git my monet back already!!. If I manage ro sell the others I'll have got the calendar for free and £400ish worth of perfume i absolutely LOVE. Amazing. Obviously that money MUST now be invested in another calendar.

I’ve still not ordered for Dd 19 as can’t decide between LF or Boots Luxe. I didn’t actually think GB was that great.
Ive ordered the Boots FAC ( as couldn’t get LF FAC) as an actual advent and she’s home from Uni on 13/12 so 12 days fits perfectly.
Planning on a BAC instead of a stocking as usually buy make up, shampoo and skincare. I’ll just add the required bottle of matey bubble bath and a selection box and tube of jelly tots/ fruit pastilles 😊.

@MiaN - I know what you mean. I do want an a/c, I just don’t want to buy for the sake of it or spend a fortune!

Harrods is still my front runner but so expensive and there’s several terrible - for me - doors.

I quite like GB and also YOU, (although both also have several DODs).

OMC and PureSeoul were both a huge disappointment, (but I am sure I will get over it!)

Meanwhile, what the heck am I going to spend all my Liberty BD credit on? I can’t roll it over to Xmas 27 - that would be insanity!

I genuinely do not know what I was thinking. After buying the Liberty calendar last year, it never occurred to me that Liberty 2026 would be so very unsuitable for me 😿

It’s a mess and all of my own making!

On the plus side: I do quite like getting the Beauty Drop boxes.

I have promised myself that I am not going to buy another calendar unless they get reduced or I sell things from the two I have already ordered, otherwise I will end up with way too much stuff.

Trying hard not to let the Space NK “congratulations! You have gained early access” email trick me into thinking I want it more than I actually do.

It sounds extremely dodgy but I was hoping there was a legitimate explanation. Seem you’re just happy buying knocked off products.

The Delina was gone in under half an hour. I tried on Vinted and immediately got banned bc id tried them (and showed the bottles outside if the boxes so it was obvious id broken the seal) but eBay apparently doesnt care.

You cant sell used beauty products on Vinted but they are very random about it. But if you said in the desceiption that you have tried them thats your ban. They dont care about showing bottles outside boxes

Seems like you sold of the most popular ones that everybody is after.

With the Fairy I presume they work there and get a good discount, and can buy surplus stock cheaply.

I have friend who worked at L’Oreal many years ago and they used to get a bag full of make up/skincare/hair products for around £5 each.

@Batsratscatsgnats I thought it was best to leave them in the cellophane - do you find you get less unwrapping the packaging or does it not make a difference?
I think I’d prefer to open them if it doesn’t have a negative impact

My Elle calendar arrived today and it’s very weighty. DH has checked all the draws and replaced a couple of Dods for me. Does anyone know how we get the magazine subscription? Do they email it separately in December?

Think I would be tempted by OMCream if it was heavily discounted. If only for the Balm Amour and bag!
