Hello
I'm a bit of a beauty novice so please go easy on me!

I'm looking for something to wear that makes my face just look better than my natural skin. I don't suffer from spots but I just feel a bit tired and dull. I'm looking for something that's easy to wear and will just give me a brightening lift with a bit of coverage. Budget wise im probably not looking at luxury but very happy with mid range.

There is so much online I just don't really know where to start. I'm wary of ordering online for shade matching. Any recommendations - or anything to avoid - gratefully received!

Sorry I probably didn't give enough info. I'm 38 and fair skinned, prone to dry skin if anything at all.

The NARS tinted moisturiser is great but I have recently switched to the Isdin Fusion Water which does all of the above but is also spf 50. Highly recommend. I also use something brightening under my eyes, and some blusher, and that's enough to make me feel presentable but not overdone.

I came on to say the Nars tinted moisturiser. Highly recommended.

Nars tinted moisturiser for me too. I tried quite a lot of different tinted moisturisers over the past 18 months - Hourglass, Gucci, Estée Lauder, Laura Mercier, MAC, but honestly the Nars one is easy, well-behaved, does exactly what I want it to, works well if I am doing a full face or a five minute face.

Boots no 7 hydraluminous. Mid coverage but natural. Bit of a glow but not shiny. I’ve had a lot of compliments since using it.
