Please help me with shoes!

I’ve gradually built up a capsule-ish wardrobe that I really love over the past couple of years. I’m a Kibbe soft dramatic, and I wear a lot of drapey dresses and trousers, and slightly bootcut style jeans (you can prise them out of my cold, dead millenial hands).

My footwear situation is rubbish, other than two pairs of lovely boots which work brilliantly when it’s cooler. For shoes and sandals, please can you tell me the smart-ish, comfortable, reasonably sturdy, flat options that you love that might be versatile to wear with the sorts of clothes I wear?

good picks, those, LowAndSlow. I'd go with, shape-wise, almond toe, classy looking 'lady' shoes, but not too 'prim', for a soft dramatic. I'd also think about low profile trainers, like adidas tokyo, thin soles, soft looking,

or currently, very fashionable, shoes that look like 'dance' jazz shoes, like these buffy oxford, from reformation.

Trainers nowadays with everything even my 'poshist' frocks. Don't care I walk in comfort and they actually look ok. I do have several pairs in different colours and degrees of toughness.
