Help with vintage caplet

Hello. I got this year's ago when I was working in a local theatre costume department that was closing down and thought I'd do some research on it. AI tells me it's a genuine, vintage, french sequin art deco caplet from the 1920/30's. The simple label and covered button dates it as vintage apparently. I would like to get it valued and maybe sell it to a collector as I don't have any need for it. Are there any recommended collectors or websites I can enquire about it does anyone know??

@creamcheeseandlox I’m no vintage expert, but, I was under the impression that labels and stamps etc, with ‘made in xxxx’ started from the 1950’s.

It’s beautiful although I’m a bit surprised there’s any label at all if it’s 1920s - it’s certainly possible but I’ve never seen one on anything from that decade (apart from photos with haute couture labels). I’ve used A1 myself to help me date vintage clothes and been grudgingly impressed with the results but I’d be a bit cautious and definitely get a second opinion.

I think the best place to start would be an auction house as they will have valuers and there may be a costume expert there or, if not, they should be able to point you in the right direction.

Edit. The Vintage Fashion Guild has an online guide to the history of labelling. As pp says, certain things started at specific times but I can never remember the details and always have to check.
