I feel ridiculous even asking this but my DD is already browsing prom dresses! She’s looking at Stacees but I’m reading mixed things. I don’t want to spend an absolute fortune on a dress. Ideally less than £300. Any tips on where to look/when we need to start looking. I notice lots of places are appointments only. I’d much rather go somewhere we can browse without that pressure. Based in Cheshire so ideally round Warrington/Liverpool/Manchester way if anyone knows any great places to look at.

A mum on here set a £10 limit on eBay last year and told her daughter to choose a dress Equally I have a few dresses myself that were only £3 on Vinted. I actually got a long length glitzy dress for just over £1 recently so it can be done. Ever pretty are reasonable so could be worth a look. Some charity shops have prom dress sections so they can be tried on. All the best finding an inexpensive dress. I don't like spending a lot on any of my clothes.
