Hi, I've always had hooded eyes but just lately they seem to be getting droopier. I am early 50's, and have just lost over 2 stone (Yes Mounjaro.) recently so I don't know if that is contributing? I can't afford surgery but just wondering if there is any product anyone can recommend to help? I am on the QVC wait list for Nakery Beauty Lift-Tox Anti-Gravity 360degrees Eye Lift Cream
But some of the reviews say it works and some say it did nothing. It also might not come back in stock. (The wait list is they will send the product to you if it comes back instock within 90 days.)
Am I hopeing for a miracle?! Is there anything out there non surgical (Sorry should also have said I can't have injections as housebound.) that can help?

EDIT: Just found more revies on Nakery Beauty Lift-Tox Anti-Gravity 360degrees Eye Lift Cream, apparently it's so bad peopple have had to resort to antihistamines! Rules that out then!

No idea what works and was wondering if some kind of Botox would. In the same boat and hoping someone posts something to try!

Go for an eye test. If your eyelids are obscuring your vision you can have the op on the NHS

Keeping your eyes closed keep looking down then up. Do as many as possible. Doesn't completely cure the saggy eyelids but gives a bit of help as it pulls eyes and eyebrows up.

As pp wrote, you can have an exam if they’re obscuring your vision. I also have hooded eyelids but a bit of Botox has helped lift them; I know you mentioned being housebound and I’m sorry about that. I don’t think a cream will be effective.

Nothing will work except an upper bleph. The NHS wouldn’t cover mine after a field sight test (my vision was obscured but they basically said unless it rendered me at the same level as some who would be registered blind I’m out of luck. It depends on area. It’s yet another post code lottery. I went to Faceland in the end. Cost £540 and best thing I’ve done for myself.

Hello, sorry for the delay in coming back and thanks so much all for your input. I have found freezeframe - Eyelid Lift for Hooded Eyes, Non Surgical (15ml) that I'm trying. I got it on Amazon in the end. The reviews were either it did absolutely noting, or it worked. I figured I'd give it a go. It arrived yesterday and I put it on one eye to see how I'll tollerate it (Sensitive skin.). Seems ok so far, feels a bit dry but I suppose I'll see what happens when I apply the next dose (x 2 daily.) I'm also going to take some before and afters so I can compare.

For those who have had upper blepharoplasty, how long was your recovery time? How long was it before you were allowed to drive again? It's not being allowed to drive for weeks that puts me off as I don't know how I'd manage.

I'm trying StriVectin cream on my eyelids as recommended by Vogue - they say you can see results quickly but I can't see a bit of difference whatsoever. I just don't think creams work at all.

My mum had her eyelids done on the NHS be warned it wasn't a cosmetically focused result but my mum could see better so was happy.

I had an upper bleph. No pain in procedure or after .
bruises gone just after a week
Was driving soon after stich removal .

Botox above the eyebrows helped lift mine but to be fair mine aren’t severely drooping. But absolutely cheaper than surgery

there are little patches of sellotape stuff that you put on your eyelids and they really worked on the presenter i was watching on tv using them.

can recall the name of them but it was totally amazing wgat a difference they made. she suddenly had a nice crease again.

You can buy tiny, elliptical stickers which sit on the upper lid and help to open it up/lift the lid. They are popular in south east asia. You can buy them from ebay, amazon etc.

I had an upper Bleph 11 years ago and it was money well spent. I’m 62 and still haven’t aged around my eyes…jowls are another thing though 🤦🏻‍♀️
Anyway, best decision, cream won’t actually lift anything.
