Selfridges advent is sitting with an post for few days ... it there is a leaky perfume they probably will refuse to deliver it.

SFAC arrived fully intact this evening, contrary to expectations. A couple of the smaller bottles were a bit loose and rolling around, but nothing was leaking or broken. Fingers crossed for you @MiaN

An post have it as processing for 3 days. That's most unusual. They usually. Deliver next day once that sane status appears. There isn't much I can do, I will have to accept whatever faith it has :(

Selfridges fragrance advent arrived. Wow, it's a a beauty! I feel I have won the lotto. I hope few of the scents work for me. Nothing broken

I opened box 3 of my Harrods Advent Calendar yesterday and sprayed it immediately. This one is a winner for me. I love it, it's so magical 🧙🏻‍♀️🪄 I'm wearing it again today. I feel it's perfect for autumn.

SOTD scherzo by miller Harris - floral and comforting ( think there’s a rice note at the base)

just spending on the liberty beauty drop as it’s their fragrance day - blue talisman extrait, dies van norten woody travel set and althair ( sons Xmas ).

It's not scent of the day but I did have a little drop of patchouli gourmand. It's not something I would buy myself, I have theater booked for next month and drinks before that - I imagine myself wearing nice outfit and wearing it. It feels dressy. As I don't like oud, most of this brand's perfumes are not a runner for me - very happy to have the pretty bottle and perfume I can actually wear

I am tempted to keep the box in case I want to create a little advent for myself at some point.

Tried Zephirine today which came in the liberty beauty drop. Don't think it's for me, it has a sharp note I'm not a fan of, smells clove-y.

WFH so lots of opportunities to spritz and test.

Liberty has 20% off on perfumes so I'm trying hard to resist. I am hankering after DS Durga radio bombay but I am nt sure there's any point in me getting a full bottle as they are wasted on me. They do have the little kits with the travel sizes in.

The notes sound gorgeous - I'd love to try this one. If only Liberty sold it... 20% off and my BD credit would work so nicely

Tried cardamom latte today which came in the CB box and I'm not a fan, it's too sharp, too much, and the coconut note kind of spoils it. Shame as I am into spicy coffee scents at the mo.

Finally my jo malone discovery /sampler came and I've tried lime basil and mandarin again not for me I don't think, too zingy and unless I've got a cold I'm not really into zing.

Resisted the lure of liberty 20% off, nothing I want really think I already have everything!

@Fillybuster whilst the fb idea is great, worth at least a second go of testers. I often change my mind.

SOTD de los santos from Byredo. Last of an old sample. Dill but a nice dry down. Goes well with burgers for tea

@MiaN completely agree except for the Halfetti, which I love.

@IDontHateRainbows i really like the Zephyrine (sp??). It hits all my figgy, woody, spicy notes. Let me know if you’d like to swap for initio power self or the ex Nihilo Fleur narcotique?

@lokijet i share your appreciation for the MH Scherzo. At some point i will probably buy a bottle, but not for a while considering all my recent purchases!!

SOTD Memo Paris Odeon. This and Madurai were double set in the JL FAC and are both really growing on me. In fact I liked so much from the JLFAC (my first intro to Crivelli, BDK, EM and others) that I bought a second one. Admittedly that was before I bought the BT BAC and the SFAC. I need to stop for a bit now!

I too absolutely adore Sherzo. I am also interested in MH velvet rose and oud, having got the body creme in the JM aidvent calendar although not opened it yet.

SOTE is pomegranate noir from JM. I don't like many JM can find them a bit too weak and watery but this is lovely.

I am little fed up testing perfumes, although I probably will test some more when I go in town later. I wore Vietnamese Coffee yesterday and it maybe my scent of the day again.

I ordered 100ml two umbrellas for one from a retailer. The box of the perfume felt unsealed/open. Those that had the harrods advent - did the floraiku box feel bit unsealed?

Do you know which drawer it's in? I can have a look but I don't want to open all the drawers when I'm doing quite well at forgetting what's in it.

My SOTD for most days recently has been Zara Ebony Wood. I still like this and it's an easy reach at this time of year.
