Outfit for the races

I’m going to the races later this month as part of a corporate hospitality event.
I’ve put on some weight & feel like I’ve lost my style sense. I’m looking for something elegant & stylish but not ‘mother of the bride’
Trousers or skirt /dress fine, and I’ll be in heels, although nothing skyscraper

Size 14, don’t mind my shoulders (don’t love my arms) and looking to flatter my stomach area. I wouldn’t wear anything low cut.
Any suggestions would be welcome.

I only ever go to the scruffy bit at the races so not great on posh outfits - but wanted to say, think very carefully about heels. The posh enclosure is full of women limping or carrying their high heels, and one time when the going was soft, they were wearing plastic bags over them! it's not a great place at all for high heels. I would go as low and blocky as you can if flats are not an option - or carry emergency flats with you.

My go-to for nice dresses is Joe Browns if that helps at all, they have plenty of tummy-skimming dresses. This would be perfect for autumn: www.joebrowns.co.uk/azalea-twist-front-jersey-dress-wf501?colour=640

Have fun!

Thanks @AbacusCat
Noted on the heels. We are in a viewing box type thing, so hopefully not at danger of sinking into the ground (I will take some flats with me incase).

If you're happy to stay in the viewing box, you should be absolutely fine. If you want to visit the parade ring, watch the horses trackside or put a bet on with the trackside bookies, then it may be a bit of a walk (some places are more spread out than others) - it depends what you want out of the day, and of course what sort of weather we are blessed or cursed with! With race courses being so open they can be very chilly if it's breezy or a lovely sun trap if it's fine, so check the forecast before you go.

ETA - at some courses it can be a bit of a trek over grass from the car park into the enclosure and it gets very muddy when it's damp!
