Mid range tailored trousers for work

I need some new work trousers - I used to buy them on Boden but they’ve irritated me with their discount weirdness. I also have a couple of pairs from Next which do for work but have a bit of stretchiness too them and I want something more ‘solid’ so to speak. I’ve traditionally gone boot cut but have lost a bit of weight and am happy with a straight leg - just nothing too tight.

where’s good to try? I’d rather pay nearer the £100 mark but would pay £200 or so for a really good pair that will last

I always like Cos trousers. Well-cut, nice fabric and just have a bit of ‘something’ to them. Range from about £70 to £120 top whack I think. Good value imo, the quality is excellent.

Arket have decent ones. M&S via Jaeger too. Hobbs - of course. I actually like the wool classic ones from House of Bruar - ignore the tartans obviously. I’ve got charcoal and light grey wool and I line them. Not stretch though.

I don’t want stretch so sounds good!
