Cost and pain of cautery for a visible vein on my nose

I got up this morning and have a large red ver noticeable vein on the end of my nose.
Im 62, wash my face with soap and don't own any makeup.
I think I have vaguely heard of cautery for fine veins.
Can anyone tell me a rough cost, and more importantly, if it hurts.

I had sclerotherapy (injection that dries up the vein). Momentarily painful, not horrific. Very successful, has not recurred 20 years later. Cost, I can’t remember TBH, probably the equivalent of £2-400 today?

Maybe laser therapy would get rid of it instead? I’ve had this and it was about £100 for my whole face. I had it on a single red area on my nose a few years ago and it was about £30 from memory. I got it done at a Laser Clinics branch near me. https://www.laserclinics.co.uk/

I had thread veins on my cheeks cauterized. Best money spent on beauty ever. Momentarily sore, erased forever. Cost £300 with a nurse at a top clinic. Recommended
