Not sure if this is the right thread, but anyway. Is there anyone else out there who can't find a perfume or fragrance they like? I've tried them all from Chanel to Clarins but they all feel overwhelming. I don't want to smell like a flower or air freshener so the only one I quite liked was Chanel No 19. But that seems to fade very quickly. At the mo I'm frageancr-free.

I’m a perfume freak so find it hard to imagine - there are so many

of you are near london go to liberty or Harrods which have loads of more unusual ones to try - and they do some scent kits where you can buy smaller sizes

alternatively you could try one of the decant services to try a range of different scents - see if there is a style that appeals before narrowing it down to a specific scent

I'm from this industry and used to own two specialist perfumeries.

There is a book called Perfume by Tanya Sanchez. It would be helpful.

If you like no19 that's a herbal or fouchere.

Tell me what you loved in the past.
Memories of smells, cut grass, lemons etc.
I'll try to help.
