Deodorant or something else on sweaty chest?

I'm in my 40s, perimenopausal, and have started to get a very sweaty chest. It gets really wet in between and under by boobs and the sweat has a specific old lady smell, different to my pits. Does anyone else get this and has anyone found a solution? Should I apply deodorant between the boobs and if so is there a specific one that is good for the old lady smell. I'm currently trying to mask the smell with perfume but not sure it's really working. Plus I'd like to feel less wet on the chest area as it's quite gross.

How would that actually stop teh sweat though? I'd still get that damp feeling which is horrible

Perhaps see your GP for something to relieve it ? HRT, or do tests to rule out other conditions, if it’s disrupting your life.

I would recommend the Dove 48 or 72 hour aerosol for men, probs the 72 hour one. I always take it on my holidays as I sweat a lot and spray it between & under my boobs before going out in the evening.

I haven't personally suffered with this, but I'd suggest trying glycolic acid to kill the bacteria and hopefully sort out the smell. And something like Driclor to stop the sweating.

No experience myself but you’d definitely want to look for anti-perspirants not deodorants.

Ok I don't think in realised there was a difference between deodorant and antiperspirant!

Have you tried any of the new range of eco products (Fussy, Wild and the like). I’ve just started but have seen the adverts show using it under the boobs. I think they take a while to work before you get the toxins out of your body (according to the blurb) but they have been recommended by a few people I know so I’m giving it a go now.
